Through the fusion of the Immaterial and the Material Architecture I want to create a choreographed experience through a series of spaces where the boundaries of and within architecture are questionable.
Everyday architecture uses materials to create distinct boundaries and edges between the public and private realms of the built environment. I aim to use materials in an immaterial manner to produce an architecture where the boundaries of and within architecture are questionable. An experience through multiple layers suggests a transparency of time, space, memory and feeling. The space created between the public and private realm is the space in between that blends adjacent contrasting conditions so the transition is an experience of light and shadow. Materials of the everyday will be used in their transformed states to produce an architecture that deviates from the norm...
