Here I took the sky, sun, and grass and inverted the colors to show the color that each of these absorb. So showing the absorbed colors instead of what is reflected and seen by the eye.

Blue is known to have one of the shortest wavelengths that is the most scattered and therefore can be seen more universally. Purple has the shortest wavelength and anything bluer than blue is considered to be absorbed in the skin, while anything redder than red is to feel the heat from those wavelengths. Red is known to have the longest wavelength which is not as scattered as blue and therefore is not as seen to the eye.
